My name is Jesse Hale.
I’m a self-taught designer and woodworker based in the United States.
I didn’t come up through polished studios, design schools, or the traditional furniture world. My creative foundation was built somewhere between skateboarding, underground music, subculture, and figuring things out the hard way with my own two hands.
That background still shapes the way I design today.
My work is rooted in sculptural silhouettes, futuristic forms, and furniture history — but filtered through instinct, attitude, and a refusal to make boring objects.
I’m drawn to pieces that feel bold, functional, and a little unexpected. The kind of work that can hold a room without trying too hard.
Every design is shaped through experimentation, material honesty, and a hands-on process that keeps the work personal from concept to finished piece.
Shinobi Tree is where those influences come together: furniture and objects with edge, purpose, and a point of view.
Made for people who don’t want the same thing everyone else has.
